Friends: Kirby and I feel a warm glow whenever we think about those wonderful three years at Shepherd of the Hills, when, after retirement, I served on the staff as a parish associate. Kirby and I especially remember our warm experiences with the XYZ group - how Alan asked us to coordinate its activities as it began; and how helpful Ruth Ruff was when the group decided we might venture into travels by bus - journeying to such places as Mount Rushmore and the beautiful parks in Arizona. Kirby also remembers how much she enjoyed being a part of the Chancel Choir, the Bell Choir and Presbyterian Women.
We'll not be able to come, for the doctor has told Kirby that
she should no longer travel to that high an altitude, but indeed
our prayers and best wishes are with you. |
