Dear Friends,

    While in seminary, a friend prophesied to me Jeremiah 29:11, which reads, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”. I see God's faithfulness to that promise in calling me here to Shepherd of the Hills to serve as your associate pastor.

    As I write this, tomorrow marks my one month anniversary and I have been asked to make a few comments on my short time here. The members and staff of Shepherd of the Hills have shown me such generosity and graciousness that I have been constantly reminded of God's faithfulness. I thank God every day for calling me "home" as this wonderful place has indeed become my home.

    As I look ahead to the future ministry to God which is calling us, I am excited and hopeful . As God has been so very faithful to this congregation these last 40 years, I am certain that God will continue to bless the ministry and people of Shepherd of the Hills for the next 40 years and then some!

    May God continue to keep you in the palm of His hand. May God bless you.
