A Town Hall Meeting is scheduled for TODAY after worship to allow for feedback with regard to children in worship.
THE Covenant Community Picnic is a great opportunity to connect with folks from our five partner churches. The event is always well attended by our sister churches – come and see what you’ve been missing! It starts at 12:30 p.m. TODAY at Lakewood Park, 150 S Kipling! Feel free to bring a side dish to contribute to the feast.
DIRECTORY PICTURES: Due to the response of those wanting pictures we hope to have them edited and ready for viewing by early fall.
Adult Mission Trip to Alamosa: As of now we have eight folks going. The mission trips are always a lot of fun with short work days. We leave after Church on Sunday, September 24, and return late Thursday, September 28. The cost of the trip is $200 per person plus $5.00 per night at the Methodist Church. Chilly mornings but nice days. Call Bob Garvin for information.

Hands of The Carpenter is a local nonprofit serving low/fixed-income single mothers and widows. We will have a Car Care Clinic on Saturday, August 19, at our new location: 16099 S. Golden Rd. in Golden. The clinic includes a vehicle assessment and oil change, while moms & kids enjoy refreshments and activities. Sunday Discussion – Summer Break!
Our previous series was mentally rigorous, and now it’s time for summer
vacation! The regularly scheduled class will resume in September. During our past breaks, some folks have decided to keep meeting for discussion on Sundays at 9 a.m. in Charter Hall. Feel free to help organize the gathering, or just stop by to see if anything is happening.
