Hi! I am Lisa Chavez, the business administrator at Shepherd of the Hills since August 2014. I am a native of Colorado, and still love living here. I have one daughter, Alexandria, who has turned out to be a lovely young woman. I also have two dogs, which I also consider my children. I received a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from Metropolitan State University in 2001, but continue to hone my skills in accounting, which I have been doing for the last 20+ years.
What excites me most about being at Shepherd of the Hills is the fact that the people that are a part of the church will continually reach out their hands to help others in need, whether it be a helping hand or an open ear. They care about the people that are a part of the local community, and do what they can to help.
In my free time, you will often find me walking with my dogs, shopping (treasure hunting) at the local thrift store, or watching the Bronco’s at my parents’ house on Sunday’s.
One thing that I could live with more of is time. It just seems that there is never enough.
