BECOMING A PLACE: The People We’ve Been Waiting For

What kind of place are we becoming? This fall, we’ll journey through Jesus’ teachings in Matthew, exploring how we become a community of belonging, hope, hospitality, and courage—and how ordinary practices can become signs of God’s kingdom in our changing neighborhood. This Sunday we will consider "The Courage to Stay" from Matthew 18:15–20. Every meaningful relationship encounters conflict-which is not a bad thing-it's how we grow. Jesus invites us not to avoid hard conversations, but to discover grace through courageous love, honest reconciliation, and the choice to stay in relationship. Together, we are becoming the place we’ve been waiting for.

Kick-off is right around the corner! Join us for Front Porch worship and ice cream on the 13th as we commission new teachers and leaders! Our Children's ministry and adult education are kicking off, as well as a new Toy Drive for Children's Hospital.

Warmly, Pastor Matt
