The Power of the Living Word

Whether our kids are preschoolers in the Nursery or teens it’s never too early or too late to use the living Word of God, our Bible. It’s through God’s Word that we become friends with, communicate with ant build a relationship with God and Jesus the Christ. No matter our age, we need God’s Word to be alive and for us to find a way to regularly engage and experience God’s Word through our Bibles. On Sunday, August 23rd following Worship, 11am-1pm (light lunch provided) our families are invited to join us in Fellowship Hall for a Bible Workshop to encourage all ages to dig into and explore our Bibles and engage with God’s Word. Come for the fellowship across the ages & stages as we experience 4 Stations that help us discover what is between the pages of the Bible along with Storytelling and take-home resources to keep digging. Then, this Fall we will be presenting various Bibles to all our children and youth in Worship. Bibles that will meet them where they are now and hopefully grow with them in the coming years until their next Bible presentation. If you are interested in helping Shepherd provide those Bibles, please reach out to Sandy with your donation for “Bibles” to support this Milestone Ministry.
Please sign up for the Bible Workshop either at the Welcome Desk or
email Sandy at faithformation@soth.net so we provide enough supplies.
Blessings as you open the Bible and discover God’s Living Word for you for every day life!
