World Communion Sunday – “One Table, Many Stories”

On Sunday, October 5, we join Christians across the globe for World Communion Sunday, a celebration of the feast Isaiah envisioned: a rich banquet where God “will wipe away the tears from all faces” and “swallow up death forever.” At Christ’s table, our many languages, cultures, and stories meet in one great story of grace. 1 Corinthians reminds us that “because there is one bread, we who are many are one body,” and this day makes that truth visible. Come taste the bread and cup, hear the voices of many nations, and rejoice that God’s love is gathering all peoples into a communion wider than we can imagine.
